Elaine Thomaston

Attorney at Law

Elaine Thomaston joined the firm as an Associate in 2008. She is originally from Alabaster, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University in 2003 where she earned B.A. degrees in Psychology and Criminology. Elaine earned her Juris Doctorate from Faulkner University Jones School of Law in 2006. At Jones, Elaine was elected by her peers to serve as an Honor Court Justice her third year. During her law school tenure, Elaine served as a research assistant for the late Professor Luevonda Ross. Elaine began her legal career as a law clerk for Hon. Richard Lane, former Lee County Family Court Judge. The experience Elaine gathered during her clerkship is invaluable to her domestic relations practice.

Elaine is admitted to practice in Alabama courts and is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, where she remains an active member of the Family Law Section.

Elaine is also a member of the Lee County Bar Association. Elaine actively participates as a member of the Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program and volunteers with the Wills for Heroes Program.

Elaine is available to assist clients in all Alabama counties, but her practice is primarily focused in East Alabama (Lee, Tallapoosa, Macon, and Chambers counties).

Elaine is actively involved with the American Cancer Society and currently serves as a member of the Planning Committee for the Lee County Relay for Life and was previously the Chairperson for the American Cancer Society’s Junior Executive Board of Lee County. Elaine is a former Auburn Chamber of Commerce Diplomat.

Elaine lives in Auburn, Alabama. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, cheering on the Auburn Tigers, pop culture, and traveling.
